Did not have work done here, but was turned away because owner did not want to take on a paint repair insurance job. Not impressed. No room for parking. Also received no suggestions for other facilities.Edit: I went here for collision repair, not custom paint work. I also don't own a Tacoma and didn't at the time of leaving this review. The owners are clearly out of touch. Be warned.

Review time.Recently my 2024 VW Golf R took some parking lot damage to one of the doors, mainly a couple scraps to the paint (to the metal) and bumps, not a thing you want to see when going back to your car.I’d driven by this place forever having used to live nearby, but when researching a place to get the damage repaired, these guys were consistently at the top of the list and after having worked with them, I really understand why. I stopped by for a quote and was helped very quickly, Chris walked me through the work that would need to be done, explaining the how and why they would work their process, very helpful, very friendly.Also, this shop wasn’t on my “listed vendors” from my insurance, but I am happy that I ignored that and went with a shop of my choosing rather than theirs(Progressive), the work was fantastic. Every time I stopped in or talked to the guys on the phone, they are very friendly and made the whole ordeal a shockingly smooth experience.The result of the work on the car is that you really can’t tell that there was an issue in the first place, just as you would hope. In fact, I keep my car pretty clean as it is, but they went a step beyond going so far as to detail the interior and exterior to the point that it felt like the day I drove it off the lot brand new. Definitely did not need to do this, but the fact that they did just really impressed me and left me very appreciative (especially right before the Thanksgiving holiday? Saving me chores? What is this?).Five stars all around, I hope I don’t need their services again, but if I do, there’s no question who is going to take care of my automobiles.

I can't say enough good things about Chris, Alex and the crew at Prestige Auto Collision. This is by far the best auto collision body shop in Kansas City and in general just one of the best companies in KC period. I have had my car worked on by Prestige Auto several times in the past two years and each time I experienced nothing but exceptional quality work and above and beyond customer service. These guys really have their process dialed in and down to a science. They are truly on your side when dealing with the insurance company and fight for what is right and should be approved to get the job done correctly. Most insurance companies want to take short cuts to save themselves money. But here's the thing, you pay a premium for your car insurance and so your car should be fixed by a quality shop with quality parts. Prestige will make sure that happens. I have been to other body shops where they will just accept the answer the insurance company gives them and then fix your car with sub-par results. Chris, Alex and team don't accept that. They are going to do what it takes to get the job done right and ensure it will be quality work that is covered when they are done with your car. They are just as busy as other body shops in the area, but they don't use that as an excuse and are able to make the magic happen. Don't bother with the hassle of other shops. If you want a no hassle and worry free top notch experience, go to Prestige Auto.

If you are looking for the best auto repair facility in KC area, please stop in and talk to Alex. Don't let the insurance companies talk you into taking it to a fly by night repair shop. This is hands down the best shop. They will fight for you to restore it back to OEM specs. This is the second time we have used these. Due to an unfortunate deer collision we had to bring the vehicle back for another visit. The attention to detail here is amazing. The customer service is incredible. I will never use another shop. Thank you for the amazing work gents!

When we asked another shop, who does similar work to them because they were booked, Prestige Auto was recommended to us. Upon the first interaction with Alex, we knew we took our car to the right place. Sons 2015 Lexus RCF has numerous Mods that were damaged while his car was parked. Hit and run had the son devastated. Other shops did not want to touch it but Prestige auto took on the job. Coming from a perfectionist ,These guys do it right. We just picked up the car today and we are 100% satisfied with the attention to detail on this repair. Car looks better today than when it was first purchased. These guys did an amazing job with this repair. Highly recommended for any style of car especially if you have high end sports car. We really wanted to thank our technician that worked in her but we forgot to ask... thank you mr. Repair man!!! You did an amazing job...Thank you Prestige Auto.

If I could give Prestige Auto Collision 6 stars, I would! :) I was rear-ended by another car and was searching for a reputable auto shop for repairs. I lease a Jeep and as I don't own the car, I needed to be certain of the quality of the repair work. As a woman, I also wanted to be treated fairly and with respect. Thanks to so many fantastic Google reviews, I decided to give Prestige a try. I'm so glad I did! Chris and his team were absolutely amazing! They provided outstanding customer service from beginning to end. They guarantee their work using only new parts, unlike other auto shops that use after-market or junkyard parts. Chris battled with the insurance company to ensure complete coverage of the repairs with new parts. He was communicative and transparent through the entire process, keeping me informed and emailing photos as the repair work was being completed. When I returned to the shop to pick up my Jeep, Chris explained the full scope of the repairs. He walked me out to the car and we did a walk-around to make sure I was completely satisfied. My Jeep had been freshly washed and was sparkling clean! I had an exceptional experience with an honest, top notch auto collision shop. Kudos to Chris and the Prestige team! Highly recommend!!!

Best Auto body shop in Kansas City! It was absolute pleasure to have my car repaired by Alex and the crew at Prestige. They were quick to keep informed about progress and my twenty year old looks better than the day it rolled out of the factory.They noticed a few spots that weren't up to their standard and went above and beyond to make it perfect. My experience was extremely friendly and very professional. This is the only place in Kansas City I will take my car too.

I had an exceptional experience with Alex & Chris from first contact to pick-up. My car looks amazing! Not only did they fix accident damage, but I also had a chip on the hood repaired and cosmetic fixes on the front and rear bumpers. The paint match is exact! I noticed one headlight I had that was cloudy now looks brand new! They cleaned the car like it is brand new - inside and out. Seriously, it looks like it was detailed inside! Top notch work and customer service! I was in the middle of a 3-car pileup wreck in my 2023 Silverado. After extensive research for body shops in KC I decided to go with Prestige Auto to fix my new truck. They exceeded my expectations with the workmanship and stayed true their timeline of two weeks. They finished 4 days early even! They did not cut any corners, and battled my insurance to get OEM GM parts. This is the reason I chose Prestige, because most surrounding shops do not battle, and you’re stuck with junk parts that don’t fit right.I will only be using Prestige Auto moving forward. They made it clear to me that they care about the customer and our vehicles.

Went above and beyond.I had a tree branch fall on my trunk and had called all over the metro looking for a place to take my car. Due to the circumstances of the global distribution pipeline being clogged up, most shops were months behind and could not even bring my car onto the lot until two months out. After making many calls and trying to get a decent time estimate I landed with Prestige for a few reasons:- Good reviews- Were willing to go to bat for me to work with my insurance and use OEM parts and NOT used parts.- Confidence they could have my car on their lot earlier than they could currently commit. They contacted me as soon as they were able to bring it in, which was a whole month earlier than they could previously commit to.They had fluid contact with me throughout the process. Worked well with my insurance even when it was difficult. They kept me in the loop throughout the whole process and made me feel confident with their work. When I finally got my car back, I was very pleased with their work. Looked just like new. All OEM parts used, detailed inside and out, and continued to work with my insurance after I paid my portion and drove away satisfied.I will be going back to them next time I need any autobody work done.
